This policy explains how VC Services collects and uses your personal information when you visit www.vcservices.co.uk, ask us for a quote, or book a clean or removal.
Who we are
VC Services is a trading name of Vanizio Caldeira, a sole trader based in Failsworth, Greater Manchester (M35). For UK data protection law, we are the "controller" of your personal information.

What we collect
When you fill in our quote form, book online, call, email or message us, we may collect:
your name
your email address and phone number
the address of the property we're cleaning or moving you from/to, plus access notes (for example key collection or parking)
details of the job: property size, dates, services wanted and any photos you send us
booking and payment records (amount, date, what was paid for)
messages between us
We do not collect or store your full card details. Card payments are handled by Wix Payments or its payment partners (see below).
Our website may also use cookies and similar technology to make it work and to understand how it's used. You can manage these through the cookie banner on the site.

We will not send you marketing messages unless you've agreed to them, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We only share what's needed:
Wix.com – hosts our website, forms, bookings and payments, and acts as our data processor. Wix may process data outside the UK under approved safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses). See wix.com/about/privacy.
Payment providers used through Wix Payments, to process your card payment.
Self-employed cleaners working with us, who need the job address and access details to do the work.
Our accountant, HMRC, our insurer or legal advisers where required.
Google (Gmail) – we use it for email.
We never sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that don't become a booking: up to 12 months.
Booking, invoice and payment records: 6 years after the end of the tax year, as required for tax and VAT.
Photos of the job: up to 12 months after the job, unless needed for a dispute or claim.
If there's a complaint or claim, we keep the relevant records until it's resolved.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
ask us to correct anything wrong
ask us to delete your information (where we don't have to keep it by law)
object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
ask for your information to be transferred to someone else
withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

Keeping it safe
We use password-protected accounts with two-step sign-in where available, and only share job details with people who need them.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
